Blog Under Construction

I am in the middle of editing past posts for the this new WordPress theme I am using on the blog. The theme I was using was a great theme, but I needed to do a lot of things manually and it was becoming tedious. I really needed something easier and that would keep up with WordPress' development, so I subscribed to the services of a premium theme development outfit.

This new theme should be kept up-to-date with the latest WordPress versions by that team.

On another front, the video card on my render machine went south on me. It was a great video card with crossfire technology. I had to order a new one and am waiting for it to arrive. I went with a less capable video card, more modern than the one I lost, with DX 11 capabilities; the ATI Radeon HD 5450. I am not paying more than $70 for a video card anymore, the last one cost me $253. I have never had a cheap video card ever die on me, I usually throw them away when I upgrade the motherboards on my computers because they usually end up being way too dated; like when AGP faded into PCI and PCI into PCI Express 2.0.

So stay tuned. I have a lot of nifty ideas for some renders and am anxiously awaiting a new plug-in renderer for DAZ Studio called Reality. Its features and capabilities are awesome and will allow me to render more realistic outdoor scenes with DAZ Studio.
